Mr Iley said: "We have completely rebuilt her. Once you start on a project like that, you have to keep going and this is the result. She started her life in Paignton and has been here ever since, people are fascinated to know more."
The boat was built by Louis Gale of Paignton for Marjorie Gilley and was first launched in 1938.

Nautilus spent the war years in Louis Gale's shed, the site of the sailing club and car park at Paignton harbour.
Mr Iley bought the boat in 1976 from Stella Holmes, who was given the boat when Miss Gilley died in the early 1970s.
He began the restoration project three years ago when it became clear the Nautilus was coming to the end of her life having spent it all in Paignton harbour.
The project began after the leaking boat was removed from the harbour to prevent her sinking.
