Abseil for nursery
FOUR girls from Watcombe Children's Centre Nursery took part in a sponsored abseil in Brixham to raise funds for the nursery.
Sarah Eden, Sarah Miles, Sophie Bond and Beth Salter raised more than £500, and the money is to be put towards the development of the sensory room.
Nik Salter, director of the nursery, said: "We are really proud of the girls. They did a great abseil and raised a lot of money doing it.
"Next year they have asked to do an even higher abseil, something they might regret."
