Acoustic, rock, pop and indie bands come together for Parrotfest
THERE'S a varied line-up for Parrotfest 6, the latest version of the popular music festival held at the Apple and Parrot pub on Torquay's harbourside.
The roster for the event on Sunday, February 12, includes 12 great bands, a beat boxer and five DJs .
As usual, entry is free all day and the event kicks off with the 1990s festival warm-up, followed by an amazing slate of acoustic, rock, pop and indie bands.
New and familiar faces are among the line-up including The Dantes, Smith and Watkins, Mitch and Amy, Organic Roots, Crooked Daniel, Emerald Hill and Lunix.
Back by popular demand is beat boxer Mikbeatz, who teamed up with accoustic act A J and Elliot at the Apple and Parrot earlier this month.
Parrotfest began in February last year as an experiment, providing live music fans with a 'Glastonbury in a pub' experience.
A spokesman said: "We've got great live music, good food, fine ales but all indoors. No rain, no mud and no queues for the loos!"
