Action packed fun as animation is brought to life
FANS of the animated film Madagascar will go wild for the live theatrical show which begins its run at Westpoint, Exeter, today.
Based on the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation franchise, Madagascar Live! relives the fun and humour of the animals and their escapades through storytelling, dance and music.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy the action-packed, song-filled adventure as Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, Gloria the hippo and the plotting penguins escape from their home at Central Park Zoo in New York and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien's Madagascar.
The production features joyous dance numbers and fantastic new songs as well as the favourite 'I Like to Move It, Move It'.

This celebration of friendship is brought vividly to life by imaginative sets and costumes and a cast of 25 characters, bringing West End values to the arena environment.
The family-friendly show had its UK premiere in Bournemouth on January 11, and has since visited a number of cities including Nottingham, Newcastle and Cardiff on tour. It has delighted audiences and critics alike.
The production team has a wealth of experience in live touring shows for families.
It is directed by Gip Hoppe, who has worked on numerous other family stage shows including Dora the Explorer Live.
The show's composers and lyricists, Joel Someillan and George Noriega, have worked with several popular artists including Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin and Mandy Moore and have amassed a collection of gold and platinum records and won multiple Grammys.
Madagascar Live!, which is presented by Stage Entertainment Touring Productions, runs at Westpoint Arena in Exeter until Sunday, February 24. Performances today and tomorrow are at 3pm and 6.30pm. On Saturday they are at 11am, 3pm and 6.30pm, and on Sunday they are at 12pm and 4pm.
The show, which is suitable for everyone aged three years and over, has a running time of approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets are priced from £20, with discounts available for families and big groups.
