Katie, a former student at Brixham Community College and Miss Torbay contestant, said: "It was really good fun. This is my modelling debut and I would really love to develop a career one day."

Katie, who has been working for the airline for two years, said the chosen girls were flown to the Cypriot island of Paphos for the photo shoot. She described how she sent a picture of herself in her underwear to head office and then donned a bikini for the next set of auditions.

"It was quite unusual to go for an interview in your bikini," Katie joked.

Her image has been used in all the promotional material for the calendar and is being recognised by passengers on her flights.

She said: "I was really shocked people recognised me, but then I realised it is because the picture is everywhere."

It is hoped the calendar will raise up to £100,000 for the charity.

The 2013 calendar is said to be 'hotter than ever' featuring the sexiest Ryanair cabin crew stunners in swimwear and lingerie.

It is on sale onboard Ryanair flights, from ryanair.com or from TVN Foundation centres across Poland.

Ryanair's Stephen McNamara said:"Ryanair's gorgeous cabin crew are pleased to once again strip off for charity and this year they have selected TVN Foundation who help a range of causes across Poland.

"We hope the 2013 Charity Calendar will raise up to £100,000 to help TVN Foundation buy hospital equipment to help children suffering from mucoviscidosis (cystic fibrosis)."
