Asda staff go litter-picking in Paignton
STAFF from Asda Paignton joined forces with members of the community to save Paignton Beach and the promenade from litter louts as part of its ‘Big Litter Pick’ initiative.
After calling on the community to nominate areas in need of attention and to take part in the initiative, Paignton Beach and the promenade were transformed by the group of rubbish renouncers.

Lyla Christopherson, team leader for the Big Litter Pickers from Asda Paignton, said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who nominated areas for us to target and those who joined us on our Big Litter Pick at Paignton Beach.
“We hope what we’ve done will make a difference. We should be proud of where we live and work and make it an attractive, safe and clean place to be a part of.“
