Ashburton Blues Festival takes a year off
ORGANISERS of the annual Ashburton Blues Festival have decided to skip a year.
Spokesman Michael Cranmer said: "We have decided to 'do a Glastonbury' and take a year out, so there will not be a 2013 Festival.
"It is an enormous task and stress inevitably takes a toll, which is not good for anyone!
"So we're having a breather and regrouping for 2014."

Dates have already been booked for the 2014 festival on Friday 23, Saturday 24, and Sunday 25 May.
Mr Cranmer added: "We're looking at the possibility of single gigs through 2013."
