Ashes denied chance to go top again
ONLY a handful of games started from the C Division down in the latest round of fixtures – and none of them reached halfway!
Just 20 overs were bowled at Seaton where Chagford were the visitors in the C Division.

Seaton reached 95 for two with Devon youth player Callum Cloude top scoring on 40.
Babbacombe suffered a cruel blow in the D Division as they slipped into the bottom two despite not starting against Yelverton.
Kilmington moved ahead of Babbacombe thanks to two bowling bonus points earned at Uplyme.
Ipplepen's game at Lewdown was cancelled.
Ashburton's chance to regain top spot in the E Division from Kentisbeare went west when the first-against-second clash was rained off after 20 overs.
Ashburton scored 101 for two at a good rate thanks to Chris Pascoe (44) and an unbeaten 26 from Kev Nicholls.
Honours ended even though with the Kents grabbing seven points, the same as the haul the previous week's leaders took back to Ashburton with them.
The big game in the F Division was Kingskerswell's game at Topsham, which almost made it to 4pm.
Kingskerswell were going well at 121-4 when the players trooped off not to return.
Paul Harding was back in the hutch with 37 to his name, but Antony Waters looked in good shape having made it without too much trouble to 31 when play came to a premature end.
Dave Vranch took a couple of wickets for Topsham St James and youngsters Jack Richardson and Ollie Devon had one each.
Elsewhere, Chelston's Mark Faulkner made early inroads into the Shaldon batting line-up with the Riversiders 14 for three before recovering to 118 for six thanks to a fine knock from Seamus McKenna (57) and an unbeaten 28 from Adam Dowsing.
Faulkner had claimed four wickets when the game was called to a halt. The other two wickets were taken by Phil Hunt and skipper Barry Griffiths.
