BREAKING NEWS: Police probe more 'deliberate' Torquay fires
POLICE have begun an investigation into a fire in Torquay early today in which a boat was damaged.
Arson is suspected to be the cause of the incident at 3.50am in Castle Road.

Two fire crews from Torquay were sent to a report of a boat on fire in the garden of the house.
While en route to the fire, they discovered a further fire in Ash Hill Road involving fencing, rubbish and a cement mixer which they extinguished with one hosereel jet.

They also used a single hosereel to put out the boat blaze in nearby Castle Road.
The 34-foot boat was slightly damaged, said a spokesman.
He added that police were asked to attend as arson was suspected.
Earlier, just after 1am, two fire crews from Torquay had been sent to a garage on fire in Thurlow Road.
They found the garage well alight and extinguished the flames using breathing apparatus and a two hose reel jets.
Police were also in attendance as this incident was believed to be deliberate.

“We have been filling Torquay with unemployed youths who get rent free accomodation by the sea, they think this kind of behaviour is funny. The Labour schools system and their parents didn't think to challenge this and the courts think a slap on the wrist is what they need.
