Administrators said staff will be relocated to other stores if the opportunity arises, otherwise they will be made redundant.

“These outlets really have to offer more than the products laid out in alphabetical order and un interested staff. Of course people shop on line where it is cheaper but I think there must be some space on the highstreet for heading your internet operation. An interface with the public, they can even order on line from you in the store while chilling out with a coffee. 1950's shopping styles are a thing of the past and if retailers want to still be in the game they have to adapt. Of course it would help in Torquay if the surroundings offered a pleasant experience. Something most urban councils are going to have to rethink.”
