A MASQUERADE charity ball takes place at the Great Hall in Dartington to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

With a dress code of black tie and mask, the event on Friday, October 19, will also include a three-course dinner and dancing with music provided by nine-piece band, Dodgey Practice. There will also be a raffle and auction and accommodation is available on site at a discouted rate.

Organiser Amanda Wreford-Brown said: "The evening is sure to be a huge amount of fun and the aim is to raise as much money as possible.

"There will be plenty of opportunity to win great prizes in the raffle and auction and all proceeds will go to Devon Air Ambulance Trust. I feel the trust is a resource we should all support as any one of us may need it at any time. Living in rural Devon, access to hospital by road is not always possible or appropriate."
