During the evening on this day Saturday March 30, local bands These Reigning Days and The Kedellas will be performing live from 8.30pm.

On Sunday it's Lynsey's leaving do, with Drink Us Dry Karaoke, a chance to watch the football and to say farewell to the Country House landlady Lynsey Billingsey who has been running the pub since last summer.

Lynsey said: "I'm leaving because I want to spend more time with my little girl. I took the pub on mainly as a challenge I wanted to turn it around and make it more a community pub and I've definitely done that with the events and kids club etc. I am confident that the new landlord will do a great job and continue raising money and holding regular events."

If anyone would like to take part in the Saturday daytime event, by having a stall or to help raise money for Rowcroft, contact the Country House pub on 01803 214006 or via Facebook.
