Boys learn bushcraft
BRIXHAM COLLEGE lads have had lessons in survival on a new Ray Mears-style bushcraft course.
Soli Ankers, Jamie Armstrong, Tom Curtis, Callum Evans, Alex Jackson and Henry Walpole built their own shelter and survived on food they made themselves as part of the course organised by the youth service and Sharpham Outdoors.

It was supported by the college and funded by Aimhigher.
The boys tried out caving, kayaking and abseiling with tutor Nigel Ohlson and learnt survival techniques with Cat Rance at Sharpham Outdoors.
The boys received certificates for their efforts from college principal Chris Turner.
