Brian Saah is Torquay United's man of the month

BRIAN Saah was the comfortable winner in Torquay United’s vote for the November Player of the Month at Plainmoor.

A club spokesman said: "In a difficult period for the Gulls, Brian’s consistency at the heart of the Yellow defence has been a shining light and he was rewarded with victory as stand-in skipper at York last weekend.

"Rene Howe was voted second by the Yellow Army, with Joe Oastler coming in third. Thanks to all those who took part and Brian will be presented with his award prior to the clash with Dagenham tomorrow."
