One of Solar's gigs in September was headlining the Saturday night at the hugely successful Abbfest, near Ipplepen.
The band played to a huge audience in a packed marquee at the beer and music festival, now firmly established as a yearly event, raising tens of thousands of pounds for charity.

On that night Solar got the whole marquee grooving with numbers such as I Feel Good, Dancing In the Street, Billie Jean and Forget You.
Solar is made up of six of the South West's finest musicians and is fronted by singer Annika Skoogh, with local musicians Tom Unwin, Neil Maya and Kevin Sanders also involved.
As Solar sold out at the Barrel House on the last two occasions, it has been decided to sell tickets in advance for this gig which can be obtained from the Barrel House.

Annika Skoogh, meanwhile, completes a busy weekend by appearing with Matt Carter (piano) and Neil Maya at the Cott in Dartington on Sunday night from 8pm.
The Annika Skoogh Trio promise a a mixture of jazz, Latin and soulful tunes.
