Said Parkes: "Once we start playing the likes of Exmouth, Barnstaple, London Irish and so on I expect there won't be so many 50-60 pointers."
Exmouth tucked in against bottom side Oxford Harlequins to register a 65-12 win which puts them fifth in the table.
The Cockles had the four-try bonus point signed and sealed inside 16 minutes and added seven more before.

Barnstaple's acting team boss Jeremy Chugg got off the mark with a win as Barum eased to a 35-8 win over Avonmouth Old Boys. Former Devon captain Chugg has taken over while Kevin Squire recovers a broken hip.
Josh Squire, Kevin's son, converted his own try and those by Ryan Carter and Toby Williamson as well as three penalties for 25 points.
Taunton Titans had a four-try bonus point and not a lot else to show for their efforts from a 32-23 defeat at Shelford in National Two South.
Titans led 20-13 at half time – Jake Childs, Jemba Bull, Mike Pope and Jack Claydon the try scorers – but were undone in the second half. All they could manage after the break was a Gary Kingdom penalty.
