Buckfast tonic wine tanker goes up in flames
A TANKER filled with Buckfast's famous tonic wine went up in flames near Buckfast Abbey early on Friday morning.
The tanker, loaded with the rich wine which is a best-seller in Scotland and around the world, caught fire outside the abbey just after 4.30am.

Fire crews from Buckfastleigh and Ashburton attended and said the tanker was well alight by the time they arrived.
Crews used two hose reel jets, two sets of breathing apparatus and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire involving the battery box of the Heavy Goods Vehicle.
