CCTV appeal after suspected assault
POLICE investigating an attack on a woman at the steam
railway platform in Paignton have issued these CCTV images of
-

three men they would like to trace.
The two men in the white shirts — seen here at a business in
the resort's Torbay Road minutes before the assault in the
early hours of June 26 — are innocent customers who may be
witnesses.
The man in the dark top is believed to have been the victim
of an earlier attack.
He is seen tending to a facial injury it is thought he
suffered in an incident near the shop at about 12.25am.
Det Con Wendy Fuller, of Paignton CIT, said: “We are anxious
to trace all three so they can help us with information about
our inquiries into the incident later at the railway platform
which happened between 12.35am and 12.55am.
Police say the later incident involved an attack by a man
who repeatedly banged a woman's head against the concrete
ground.
DC Fuller said: “We would like it if these men came forward,
or at least to hear from anyone who might know who they
are.”
The suspected assault victim had dark hair and was wearing a
dark tracksuit top with a white stripe down one arm.
He also wore white shoes and dark-coloured jeans which were
faded in places.
The men in white tops had shaven heads and each wore white
shoes.
