Caped crusader set to wed his Wonder Woman
BATMAN will marry Wonder Woman at the superhero wedding of the year in Paignton on Saturday.
The caped crusader, also known as Neil Vaughn, 46, will be taking the hand of his very own Wonder Woman, Sharon Wetherell, 40, at Oldway Mansion.
-

Flanked by the PowerPuff girls, Sharon will make her entrance with the Wonder Woman theme tune playing in the background.
The audience of fantasy fiction favourites will see best man Robin take charge of the rings and notorious villain the Joker keeping events running smoothly as master of ceremonies.
Paignton will be awash with Marvel-ous characters when the Bat-wedding hits town.
Among the guests will be a host of comic book critters plus the Incredibles and the Iron Man.
The wedding was the brainchild of Neil and Sharon, who often dress up for nights out.
"We are not particularly traditional and we wanted to have a fun day with our friends, so I suggested we have a themed wedding," said Neil.
"I have always wanted to be Batman, ever since I was a little boy and Sharon said she had always wanted to be Wonder Woman."
Bat-groom Neil said they picked Oldway because it is a 'fantastic building'.
"The pictures before and after the ceremony on the staircase in Oldway full of superheroes will be great," he said.
"It is made for a superhero wedding. We are going to have a fun day with friends and family."
Superheroes are, literally, flying in from all over the world with fantasy characters arriving from Australia and America, as well as Europe.

“I am the grooms nephew & attending as 'iron man' ,mentioned in the article. If this clears any confusion, it is a superhero themed wedding with heros and villians from all manner of comic companies, tv shows and movies..... given though that alot of people have chosen to come as a DC character!! This wedding is going to be awesome and a great experience, thanks for everyones generous comments :)”

“Iron-Man is from Marvel, but considering the overwhelming characters are from DC, I thought it poignant to point out.
I wouldn't lower myself to work at the Herald. I'm not Russell Brand or Dizzee Rascal or Frankie Boyle who will just write for any old rag.”

“I don't think they're losers. They're just different and they really don't care what people say... Live and let live Derrick! :)
Is not my idea of a dream wedding, but good on them!
And... Iron Man is from Marvel, is he not? Well spotted Rufus... Have you though of a career change? You could work for the Herald and put their wrongs to rights...”
