“Sadly there are numerous dodgy road users, whether they have two wheels, three wheels or even four wheels. What can't be argued with, however, is that the majority of damage, injuries and deaths are caused by those on four wheels.”

“A lot of bias motorcyclist`s commenting on here. I was hit on the nearside of my car & had the mirror taken off, by one of these great motorcyclist`s,
under taking. They need to learn the rules of the road, & stop racing about, I was a motorcyclist, this is the only way to gain respect, think of other road user`s.”

“It's BMAD bike festival soon, let's watch the Police turn a blind eye to all the speeding and dangerous over-taking on Paignton roads that weekend, shall we?”

“And that means, they found it to be the case, not they watched a street for a bit and guessed. They counted. Actual accidents.”

“*Losing*
I don't care what you see in your little world on the Newton road, it's statistically insignificant and it makes you wrong. What I said was, in general - that means not just the Newton road but throughout the UK - the majority of accidents involving both cars and motorcycles are found to be the fault of the driver.”

“@staceyhams:
Resorting to personal abuse and profanity when you're losing an argument is a bit like a spoilt child throwing his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get his own way. Are you stamping your feet too?”

“yes, really. Citing a couple of cherry picked examples doesn't change the facts. Whatever you think, Department of Transport figures show that most accidents where a motorcycle and a car are involved are caused by the car driver. You can argue with it all you want but you're wrong.”
