On the Specimen lakes the team have welcomed Advanced Carp Magazine angler Steve Reynard and local rod Aaron Fisher who compiled a feature to be seen in print soon.

Between them, they managed fish of 28lbs 12ozs on Reynard's new bait under test and a bonus cat fish of 32lbs.

Guy Bennett netted a 4lbs-plus eel and five carp to 17lbs 4ozs using Pallatrax Jungle baits, which also accounted for five fish including a brace of 27lbs 10ozs and 32lbs 1ozs for venue regular Dave Wood.

Rod Abbott used Emperor Baits specials to land a lovely common of 17lbs 8ozs to cap a good week.

Finally on the Specimen Lakes, Joe Brimblecombe slipped the net under a cracking cat of 32lbs 8ozs and a mid-double common.

Plenty of tench out too this week, especially from Aimee' Pool with Rod Worrall taking the best of them with fish in excess of 7lbs.

Other anglers still reporting mixed bags of 50lbs+ to a variety of tactics.

Emperor Lakes latest Facebook competition winner is Dave Hill from Torquay, who has already booked his spot.

The fishery is running two freebie competitions a month for Facebook page users.
