Carp coming out in numbers at New Barn
PAUL SAMPSON, of Torquay, had a night session at Newbarn and recorded 10 carp to 20lbs 1oz. He used double 10mm Berkley particle bomb boilies over a bed of hemp, sweet corn and particle blend. Paul fished out of hut one and used the near margins and the island margins.
Paignton angler, Tony Griffin caught seven carp from hut four. Amongst his biggest were two mirror carp of 23lbs and 21 lbs and a nice common of 19lbs. The other four carp were to 15lbs, totalling around 45lbs.
Overnighter, Matt Johnson, used the popular Carp-Tec boilies to weigh in 10 carp to a total of over 100lbs. Matt's largest was a 15lb common carp.
Bringing to the bank a total of thirteen carp, Jonny Davies also used Carp-Tec boilies from hut six fishing into the trees and around the margins. Jonny's largest carp was a ghosties at 17lbs 2ozs. His total weight was over 18olbs.

Louie Russell used Richworth boilies to catch a bakers dozen of carp to 19lbs. His brother, TJ, also used Richworth baits to add a mirror carp of 21lbs.
Drew Mangon and Cameron Jones did their night session together and landed two commons of 14lbs, a ghost carp of 13lbs and one mirror carp of 14lbs. Both used the ever popular Mainline Cell boilies.
Another ghost carp, Casper, came to Connor Nettleton at hut 8. Casper weighed in at 23lbs.
Catch report lottery winner of the week, Darell Andrews, fished out of hut one and caught only mirror carp. His four mirrors weighed in at 10,13,14 and 16lbs. His first three carp were caught using pellet and boilies. The fourth fell to a bunch of maggots.
Another large haul was the reward for Dan Handley. He banked and weighed in more than 100lbs of carp during his 24-hour session while resident at hut four. Dan used boilies and a particle mix.
One common of 13lbs and one mirror of 10lbs were caught out of hut six by Ian Robinson of Paignton.
Regular, John Stanley, enjoyed a night session and weighed seven carp to 17lbs 6ozs. John fished the margins with boilies to catch a respectable 100lbs plus of carp.
