A CARPENTRY and woodwork specialist is investing £25,000 in new premises.

Bespoke joinery manufacturer Bovey Joinery is moving premises after 20 years to accommodate new growth.

The firm has moved from Wentworth Road to a new factory unit at Fairfax Road.

The move will also create three new jobs and the bosses say it proves trade in the West Country continues to prosper despite the uncertainty caused by the recession.

The new premises is more than four times larger then their previous home and has office space as well as more operational space.

Managing director Martin Brunt said: "The move to larger premises reflects our recent success. Over the past few years, Bovey Joinery has grown from strength to strength which is due to our gifted carpentry skills.

"We are excited to be working in the new unit as we have substantially increased our space which enables us to work on larger projects more easily."

Their workshop allows them to replicate any design by combining traditional carpentry techniques with skilled workmanship.

The firm specialises in crafting a range of items including sash windows, doors, gates, conservatories and staircases.

As well as traditional carpentry and joinery Bovey Joiners provide specialist joinery for listed buildings, reproduction and architectural work.
