Cars destroyed in 'deliberate' Bovey Tracey fire
POLICE are investigating an incident in Bovey Tracey last night in which three cars were destroyed.
The alarm was raised at 9.50pm at Waterside, and the fire service received a number of 999 calls from members of the public.

The cars were well alight by the time the firefighters arrived, and Bovey firefighters called for assistance from colleagues in Moretonhampstead and Newton Abbot.
Three vehicles and the car port of the house were reported to be well alight.

The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and used three water jets to put out the fires.
One woman at the scene needed oxygen treatment for the effects of smoke inhalation.
A spokesman for the Devon fire and Rescue Service said it was believed the fires had been started deliberately.
