AN unusual charity challenge across some of Dartmoor's best-loved peaks will help raise money for Torquay's Rowcroft Hospice.

The Three Tors Charity Challenge on Saturday, December 8, will cover a route starting and finishing at Haytor's top car park.

The aim is to give participants a chance to have fun and test their fitness as they follow a route over Hay Tor, Holwell Tor and Saddle Tor.

There will be a 'train, tone and condition' fitness session at each tor.

The event is being organised by Paul Rosati, whose popular 'Get Sweaty' outdoor circuit training sessions take place at a variety of locations across South Devon every Sunday morning.

He said: "This will be the first Three Tors Charity Challenge, and we're sure it will be very popular.

"It will be an opportunity for people to put themselves to the test.

"We'll regroup at the top of each climb for an exercise session before moving on."

The event starts at 1.30pm.

For entry details, contact Paul on 01803 813001 or Kevin Lofts on 01626 834288.
