Children will now be seen and safe
PRIMARY school youngsters are staying safe thanks to new, high visibility jackets.
The children, from St Michaels School, Kingsteignton, have been given the jackets from clayball firm Sibelco.

Ward councillor Mike Walters was approached by the firm to put 20 spare jackets to good use.
Cllr Walters said: "The jackets will be used on occasions when children are walking out of school, for role-play such as road crossing, for bike-ability training and trips to Haldon Hill among other activities where high visibility is useful and needed as a safety measure."

Wayne Russell, Sibelco's clay production manager, said: "Having had to upgrade our protective clothing to meet a new corporate standards, it seemed sensible to find a use for what are still perfectly good high visibility jackets.
"We're delighted St Michael's has taken them and hope as a result the youngsters will be kept safe when out and about on the roads."
