Classic rally cars in Torbay
DOZENS of classic rally cars will be in Torquay tonight for the start of the Rally of the Tests.
The event is the largest of its kind in the UK and recreates the heyday of the RAC Rally, the first of which finished in Torquay in 1932.

High-performance cars from the Fifties and Sixties will gather at the Grand Hotel ahead of the start from Cockington Court at 5.30pm. After a short leg through South Devon, which will include a time control and coffee stop at the Mare and Foal Sanctuary at Littlehempston at approximately 6:15pm, they will return to the Grand from 7.30pm.
The cars leave Torquay again tomorrow morning, and the rally finishes in Chester on Sunday.
