CARL-CLIFF BROWN ensured Lovell Soccer reached the final of the Plate competition by knocking in six of his sides goals in their 8-3 defeat of Bobbies Boys.

Lovell will play Wooly Backs in the final after four goals from Paul Green helped them beat Kevin Thomas Electrical 5-3.

In the Cup, Team Steam demolished Old Skool 8-2 with Richard Ridley netting a hat-trick – John Washbrook replied with a brace for Old Skool.

They must wait to see who they face in the final after B&H Electrical and The Boys drew 3-3.

In the Premier League, Knuckle Runners move back to top slot thanks to another convincing 5-1 win over Builder Centre, supported by excellent goalkeeping from Paul Coombes.

Sweeney Todds improved their chances of staving off relegation with a narrow win over Olympians.

Berry Head Casuals of Division 1 had a hectic week with three matches in seven days, winning two and drawing one.

In Division 2, Grampas 7 drew 5-5 with TRS thanks to another four goals from Colin Waller who, with 51 goals, takes over top spot in the leading goal scorer's chart.

Bobbies Boys, having lost in the Plate semi-finals, bounced back with two straight wins in the league pushing them up to joint top spot.

Rocking Rocky's march on at the top of Division 3 but STI Stooshers who banged in 25 goals in two matches, with Scott Dodgson scoring 11 of them, are in close pursuit.

As already indicated it's all change at the top of the leading goal scorers chart with Colin Waller (Grampas 7) on 51, Fran Durham (The Boys) on 49, Scott Dodgson (STI Stooshers) on 47 and Michael Lowther (Chief Rentals) on 41.
