Nicky Allen, marketing officer for the cliff railway, said: "We're hoping to transport everyone back to April, 1926, and the opening of Babbacombe Cliff Railway.
"There will be a selection of characters dressed in 1920s costumes who have a number of clues and red herrings to impart to help solve our fictitious mystery.
"If you enjoy a bit of clue solving, fancy a fun day out or just want to relax and enjoy the great entertainment we've laid on, then Babbacombe Cliff Railway is the place to be on Sunday, September 9.
"Most importantly, we need people to spread the word — the more people we have to help us foil the dastardly plot, the better."
Babbacombe Cliff Railway Mystery Fun Day is part of the Agatha Christie Festival which runs from September 9 to 16 and which has loads of other great events going on in and around the Bay.
