Clubs vie for places in Premier Division
Carlsberg South West Peninsula League secretary Philip Hiscox has been busy sifting through applications from clubs requesting promotion this summer.
Six of the ten proposals are from the League's step seven divisions looking to move up to step six in the Premier.
West Division clubs lead the way with four applications for promotion to the premier from Godolphin Atlantic, Helston Athletic, Wadebridge Town and Callington Town.
Godolphin hold an 11-point advantage over Helston and Wadebridge, who both have three games in hand, and today they entertain Callington at Godolphin Way.

Unbeaten East Division leaders Exmouth Town and Stoke Gabriel have confirmed their applications but Exmouth appear to be red-hot favourites as they are nine points clear of their nearest rivals with three games in hand.
Four applications have been received from feeders leagues for membership of either the East or West Divisions.
