Coaches put through paces
YOUNG rugby coaches at Churston Ferrers Grammar School were put through their paces when they organised a tag rugby tournament.
In total, 78 children from eight local primary schools were selected to compete in a round robin tournament.

The tournament took the form of in-depth coaching sessions where coaches developed the rules of the game followed by organised drills teaching the fundamental skills of passing and tagging.
This then developed into a tournament where all eight schools played head-to-head.
The winners of the competition were Sherwell Valley primary.
The festival played a large part in enabling the Churston students to get their RFU tag rugby coaching award.
