A SERIES of concerts in Buckfastleigh will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the consecration of the town's newest church.

Following a catastrophic fire which destroyed the hilltop medieval church of Holy Trinity, the new building was consecrated in October 2002 in the town centre.

The concerts will not only celebrate the completion of the building, but also the life of the community which the church serves.

Michael Langrish, Bishop of Exeter, will take part in a service of celebration at the end of the series of concerts, on Sunday at 2.30pm, after which there will be a complementary cream tea.
