Cracking mirror is fairest of them all
BOTH main lakes and the coarse pools have been fishing well at Emperor Lakes in the South Hams.
The season ticket water returns include Brian Male with a mirror of 33lbs 3oz, plus a gold grassie of 10lbs, and Rob Pierce with a 31lbs 5oz mirror.
Best fish of the week was a cracking mirror of 39lbs 8oz to Tim Mountjoy. This was taken on Pallatrax bait, which is proving to be extremely effective on all waters.
A few carp in the 20s plus a 19lb pike to Mark Owen have reported.

Plenty of carp have been found at day ticket water. Phil Jakes took a mirror of 30lbs 10oz, plus commons of 29lbs 12oz and 16lbs 6oz.
Colin Wood had a common of 25lbs 11oz, Simon Burns took mirrors of 26lbs 6oz and 11lbs 3oz and James Hubble landed a common of 19lbs 6oz, plus ghosties of 20lbs 1oz and 13lbs 6oz
Paul Wood took four commons in the mid-teens, Peter Davey took two at 11lbs 2oz and 18lbs 6oz, and Dave Wood three commons to 22lbs 5oz. Callum Rosendale reported another common at 15lbs 7oz.
The coarse pools are fishing exceptionally well, with many anglers reporting mixed bags well in excess of 50lbs.
An open weekend is being held at Emperor Lakes on June 16 and 17. Gates will open at 10am on both days.
