'Dangerous' convict on the run in region
South West police forces have been put on alert after a "dangerous" 29-year-old man breached his bail conditions.
Lee Ivan James Hogben, from Poole, was jailed for three years in February last year for stealing a refuse lorry and smashing into police cars in a 70-mile chase across Dorset.
Police have appealed for the public's help in tracing Hogben who has been recalled to prison.
Detective Inspector Neil Phillips, from Dorset Police's offender management unit, said: "Officers are continuing to search for Lee Hogben and we are following positive lines of enquiry.

"We need to trace him urgently and I would encourage any member of the public to contact the police immediately if they see him.
"He was released from prison on January 11 with licence conditions, one of which was to reside in the Somerset area.
"However, Hogben failed to attend this address, and has subsequently been recalled to prison. Hogben should not be approached under any circumstances if seen as he is considered dangerous."
Hogben is 6ft tall, of broad build with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sports jacket, dark trousers and carrying a black sports bag.
Anyone who sees him should dial 999 immediately. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the non-emergency number 101.
