Dartmouth Medical Practice Partner Dr Andrew Eynon Lewis has surprised his patients this month by growing a moustache for the 'Movember' campaign.

Dr Eynon Lewis has been growing the 'tache for the campaign that aims to raise awareness of cancers that are suffered by men: testicular and prostate cancer.

Men all over the country pledge to grow a moustache throughout November – which is redubbed 'Movember'.

He said he was delighted to do something that helps to raise awareness and raise some funds for a good cause.

"A few friends suggested I do something to support it," he said. "It's a brilliant campaign and something which allows us to raise awareness for something very serious. As a GP I sometimes have to treat people with these conditions and we all need to become comfortable talking about them  - and this is a wonderful and fun way of doing it."
