Dartmouth ferry services disrupted
DRIVERS and passengers hoping to catch a ferry across the river at Dartmouth faced delays today.
The Higher Ferry is already off service and the Lower Ferry, which is run by South Hams District Council, is down to one ferry temporarily.
The Lower Ferry was due to run two vessels all day but a propeller has been damaged on one of the tugs.
Repairs cannot be made until Thursday January 3 at the earliest.

A spokesman for South Hams District Council said the council wanted to apologise for any inconvenience.
Residents are also being reminded to plan ahead for next Monday, when the Lower Ferry goes out of service for three months for essential slipway maintenance.
The passenger ferry will be unaffected. Work is programmed to finish on Friday March 29.
