Dartmouth flu clinic dates
Dartmouth Medical Practice has announced the dates of this year’s flu clinics.
The clinics provide jabs for those who need the flu vaccine to protect them from infection. Those in need of the jab include: those over 65 years of age; pregnant women; those with respiratory conditions; those with liver, heart or kidney conditions; those who are in receipt of the carer’s allowance or are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person; those who work in healthcare or those who live in a long-term care home or care facility.
The flu clinics will be held on Thursday October 18, all day in the Flavel Centre; Friday October 19, all day in the Flavel Centre; Tuesday October 23 in Blackawton Village Hall during the afternoon; Friday October 26 all day in the Townstal Community Hall; Tuesday November 6 in the Dittisham Village Hall during the afternoon.
If you want an appointment please book one through Dartmouth Medical Practice reception: either by visiting in person or by phoning on 01803 832212. Patients can be given their flu jab at home if a district nurse regularly sees them.
