Darts motoring up the rankings
DARTINGTON put some more distance between themselves and the wrong end of the table by taking the best of a draw off Plymouth Civil Service.
Dartington & Totnes skipper Kevan Throgmorton can't put a foot wrong at the moment as everything he touches is turning to gold.

When Throgmorton took over from the injured Dave Carter, the team were in the bottom two and facing a fight and relegation.
Three games into the new regime, D&T have taken 55 points from 60 on offer – and found time to beat Babbacombe in the Brockman Cup final.
Along the way Throgmorton has scored 50, 108 and 87 in the league, which really is leading by example.
Throgmorton's latest hit was the 87 in the drawn game with Plymouth Civil Service, in which almost everything went right until the last seven or eight overs.
Throgmorton and Paul Taylor (61) were the main run makers for D&T in their tally of 267 all out.
Carter (3-48) and Harry Baxendale (3-56) helped get Civil seven wickets down, but the tail wouldn't budge in the time left and they blocked it out at 188 for eight.
Stoke Gabriel's game fizzled out into a bore draw when the visitors gave up early chasing 218 to win.
Doug Ansley played a characteristic innings of crash, bang-wallop shots to make 83 in Stoke's total of 217 all out.
In eight overs of fireworks cricket, Ansley and Adam Newman (put on 75 without loss.
Ansley was finally one of six victims snared by John Bendall (6-39), but Newman went on to make 67 not out.
Countess Wear didn't look in the least bit interested in chasing the target, as exemplified by opener Martin Bovey batting 47 overs for an unbeaten 44,
Vivek Balasubramanian made 34 and Adam Frost 27 in an uninspiring total of 155 for five. Sam Hill (3-35) bowled effectively, Adam Castle (1-35) bowled tidily and Angus Lee (1-27) bowled frugally.
Kingsbridge took a 113-run tonking in their game away at Braunton.
Ross Burbidge – dropped from Braunton's 1st XI – showed what he could do with a top score of 76 in a hefty total of 282 for nine. Olli Seymour made 41 and A Parker hit 31.
Shaun Taylor (3-49) and Mark Edmunds (2-27) bowled well for Kingsbridge.
Mark Stacey (60) and Edmunds (38) made the only scores worth reporting as Kingsbridge were bowled out for 169 in reply.
Parker, Seymour and Chris Brigden took three wickets each for the winners.
Ipplepen's total of 204 for seven wasn't enough against Thorverton, who knocked it off with three wickets in hand.
Roger Doxatt-Pratt (48) and Matt Abbott (39no) were Pens' main run getters. Lee Curtis made 32
Curtis then claimed four wickets for 40 runs to slow Thorverton's chase for a while, but not long enough. Matt Millwood (88no) and Simon Manning (30no) saw off Pens' threat.
