Date to see crowning of Torbay Carnival Queen
TORBAY Carnival is always entertaining for charity and this year the carnival is celebrating 105 years of working for the Bay.
In the run up to the carnival on March 23 Miss Torbay 2013 will be crowned. The successful Miss Torbay and her two ladies-in-waiting will be as busy as always throughout the year and are seen as ambassadors for the whole of Torbay and attend many engagements during the year – both formal and fun!
Miss Torbay Royalty and the committee also attend carnivals throughout summer on the South Devon circuit and the East Devon winter circuit and all the carnival volunteers raise money throughout the year for local charities and organisations, so all the money goes back into the local area.
The Miss Torbay 2013 final is being held this Saturday, 7pm at Beverley Holidays, Goodrington Road, Paignton, TQ4 7JE, everyone is welcome to attend and to support the evening.

“Some things to look out for this year at Torbay Carnival 2013 on Paignton Green from July 27 to August 4: “On Saturday we have a Beech Party hosted by Palm featuring UK Beech Boys followed by fireworks.
“The procession this year is on Wednesday July 31 and fireworks on Saturday August 3.
“Also this year we are holding a Carnival Got Talent competition, so watch out for further details and information on this and other events happening during Carnival Week.
