Dawlish plays its part in Bandstand Marathon

TEIGNBRIDGE Council has released details of its Bandstand Marathon event at Dawlish Lawn.

The popular bandstand will come alive with music on Sunday, marking the end of the London 2012 Festival and an amazing summer of sport and culture on the final day of the Paralympic Games.

Similar events are taking place in Paignton and Torquay.

This free event will entertain audiences from 1-5pm, and the concert at Dawlish Lawn will be one of hundreds of outdoor concerts taking place simultaneously in bandstands and outdoor performance spaces across the UK.
