The centre has been based in Isca House, Exeter, but is moving to Devon House, Newton Abbot.
NHS bosses said the new premises were ideally located for visitors from across the county to come and try out the centre's display of wheelchairs, scooters, clothing, chairs, bath lifts, shower and toilet equipment, workstation equipment, cutlery, cooking equipment, transfer equipment and beds.
Lucy Clark, lead occupational therapist at the centre, said: "Our team of expert staff does not sell equipment, so our advice is always impartial.
"If equipment is the solution, you can try it and find out how and where to get it and how much you might have to pay."
Staff moved into the new premises at the end of January and the centre will be open to visitors from Monday 4 March, once building work is complete.
People can still contact the centre and make appointments in the meantime, by calling 01392 380181 or e-mailing ilc-exeter@devon.gov.uk.
