IT'S NOT quite on the scale of last weekend's mass-participation Dartmoor Classic Cyclosportive, but this Sunday's 16th Devon Delight promises to be every bit as enjoyable.

The 100-kilometre ride, starting and finishing in Newton Abbot, is run by the Cyclists' Touring Club.

The course takes riders through Kingsteignton, to Gappah, Ashcombe, Dawlish, Powderham, Exminster, Exeter and Thorverton, with a return over Longdown and back down the Teign Valley.

An hour before the Delight's 9am start at Newton's Recreational Trust in Marsh Road, riders will also set out on the much tougher 200K Torplex Challenge.

That course takes in Teignmouth, Dawlish, Exeter, Moretonhampstead, Plymouth and back via the South Hams.

Details of the rides are available on www.ctcdevon.co.uk or by calling Graham Brodie on 01626 367977.
