There will be a whole range of activities to get involved with and to welcome the public to the store, including close up magic, plate spinning and dance mats - for the more energetic Saturday shoppers. The South Devon College Students' Union (SDC:SU) Mascot PAWZ the purple panther will also be there to say hello to everyone and to join in with the activities.
All the events are occuing thanks to a collaboration between the SDC:SU, the college's student liaison team, and staff members from TK Maxx. Student Liaison Officer Roy Courtney has been part of the team planning for the event. He said, "It's great that the Students' Union can help out in the community for such a fantastic cause, not only nationally but we can really make a difference locally. TK Maxx are really dedicated to raising lots of money to support Comic Relief, so this really is a perfect opportunity for us to work together."
