COLLEGE students and the Oxfam Bookshop in Newton Abbot joined forces to produce a striking window display, designed to tempt shoppers in.

Newton Abbot College pupils designed dragons to put in the window of the Oxfam shop as part of an eye-catching window display that would promote children's fantasy novels. Year seven students designed collages during a literary event.

Collette Bailey, an Oxfam volunteer, said: "The dragons are really eye-catching and made a fantastic window display."

Her son, student Charlie Joe Bailey, was one of the students who designed and created the dragons. He added: "It was fun creating the dragons and I felt very proud to see our work in the shop window."
