Driver injured after crash on Paignton-Totnes road
A DRIVER was taken to hospital after his car overturned on the main A385 road between Paignton and Totnes on Tuesday morning.
The road was closed in the Totnes direction for more than an hour after the accident at 7.40am, with diversions through the lanes at Berry Pomeroy causing major tailbacks.

Police and fire crews were also at the scene. The driver's injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
A fire engine from Brixham came across the incident while returning from a previous call-out.

A spokesman said the car had collided with a wall.
Everyone was free and clear of the vehicle but one man was suffering chest injuries and shock.
He was treated by an ambulance crew while firefighters made the vehicle safe.
By 9am the road had been partially reopened, although one lane remained blocked off due to a petrol spillage.
