Eco-friendly pool boilers
TEIGNBRIDGE District Council has installed new energy efficient pool heater boilers to make Newton Abbot Leisure Centre even more eco-friendly.
The new gas boilers, used to heat the well-used swimming pool, will save 102.3 tonnes of carbon emissions each year making the leisure centre more energy efficient and cost effective.

The new boilers at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre will save £24,307 a year and after six years will have paid for themselves.
The work comes after Teignbridge recently fitted new technology low-energy lighting in the sports halls at both Newton Abbot and Dawlish leisure centres.
