HOLIDAY park entertainers have raised £155,000 for charity.

, from Beverley Parks Holiday Centre have chuckled their way through raffles, children's fun days and bingo sessions since their fundraising mission began in 1986.

The pair have donated every penny to Cancer Research UK, and as the new season gets under way they are planning more fundraising activities.

Sylvia Arlett, Cancer Research UK community fundraiser, said: "Cancer Research UK would like to acknowledge and thank Chris and Derek for their total commitment and dedication to raise vital funds.

"They are both balls of energy and as well as magnificently entertaining holidaymakers from all over the country, during the long season, they raise vital funds for us."

Money raised by the team helps fund vital research and clinical trials.

Some take place in Torbay for some types of cancer and pain relief.
