PAIGNTON Health and Leisure Club is to stage the Paignton Indoor Rowing Weekend competition on April 10 and 11.

On day one there will be 1000-metre races, a 100-metre knockout competition (handicap system), quiz night and buffet.

On Sunday marathon races and one-minute sprint races will take place.

The age groups for men and women in heavyweight and lightweight are to be 16-30, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
