Epic story set on moors

As children, free-spirited Catherine, and dark, brooding Heathcliff run wild and free on the moors. They are inseparable.
As they grow up affections deepen into a passionate love.
But Cathy lets her head rule her heart as she chooses to marry the infatuated Edgar Linton.
Heathcliff flees broken hearted, only to return seeking terrible vengeance on those he holds responsible.
Heathcliff is played by Matt Roberts, a co-founder of Writer's Block Theatre and teacher.
The inventive company is in action at the University of Exeter's, Grade ll listed Mary Harris Memorial Chapel situated on the Streatham Campus with shows running from Monday, February 6, to February 11.
Sixteen actors ranging from professionals to students of the craft will transport audiences into the dark, menacing and turbulent world of the Heights.
Director Chloe Whittaker said: "This epic play presents challenges to a new company with a tiny budget and an ambitious performance space, but our talented team of cast and crew, all of whom have contributed to the development and performance of the production have relished and embraced the challenge creating an inventive and highly engaging show with transfixing results."
