Escape around Devon in a rented Morris Minor
A CLASSIC CAR hire company has recently opened its doors near Exeter to provide enthusiasts with the opportunity to sample the thrill-of-motoring from behind the wheel of a period classic car.
Great Escape Cars decided to extend its classic car hire interests to Exeter following the success of its main sites in Yorkshire and the Cotswolds, and a network of smaller sites spread throughout the UK. The company operates a fleet of 60 classic hire cars from nine sites in Britain, with the Devon site being conveniently located to provide easy access from the M5.
To launch the new site, Great Escape has invested in a range of popular classic cars, including a Jaguar Mk2, MGB, E Type Jaguar and Morris Minor. The company plans to extend the fleet once the Exeter branch is established, as it has already done with its other UK sites.
Great Escape has recruited local man Steve Day to run the Exeter site. Steve is a leading light in the local Crash Box & Classic Car Club and his local knowledge has already helped the company develop its website.
